I am who God says that I am: "I am BRAVE!"

Hi everyone!

Well, it's that time again for another declaration challenge from my children's book, "I am who God says that I am"!

Take a look at the picture. It is worth a 1000 words. Sometimes all it takes is a word of encouragement to empower a child to believe that they can do anything!

You know I LOVE words so, let's look at what the word "BRAVE" really means.

To be brave is to have courage and endurance. Some of the synonyms for the word are: BOLD, WARRIOR, CONFIDENT, FEARLESS, ADVENTUROUS and UNAFRAID!

I know that these are the characteristics that we want to instill in our children. If the truth be told, we need a little of this ourselves. (smile). Remember that our words have so much power and influence and we can SPEAK LIFE to our children by saying what God says about them.

"I have NOT given you a spirit of fear (timidity, anxiety, doubt, worry or distress) but I have given you my spirit and it is full of love, power (capability, competency, aptitude and strength) and a sound (sturdy, safe, sane and responsible) mind!" That's the truth of God's word that we find in 2 Timothy 1:7 and that's the truth we speak into the lives of our children!

I'll keep on shouting this, until we all catch it...Our children have too many people in their ear. There are too many outside influences that we can not control BUT God's word can permeate and protect our children if we are purposeful in releasing it. So, I challenge you to find creative, intentional ways to build confidence and bravery in your child. Find scriptures that coincide with what you want to see in them and begin to pray those scriptures over your child(ren). If you have older children, use those scriptures to share with them and have dialogue with them about it. Help them to establish their own relationship with God.

We declare that our children are BRAVE and so are we! God bless you as you raise and teach children to be all God has called them to be.  "Kingdom Kids"!

I am who God says that I am: "I am STRONG"!

Hi everybody!

As I continue to celebrate the declarations found in my book, "I am who God says that I am", Let's take this message and apply it to our lives and find creative ways to build this truth in young children.

We declare that we are STRONG! Our children are STRONG because that is what God has said.

Some of the synonyms for the word strong is: SECURE, CAPABLE, ABLE, STABLE, MIGHTY, COURAGEOUS, RESILIENT, ASSERTIVE, PERCEPTIVE & POWERFUL!

Wow! God's word is ALIVE & ACTIVE!

God says in Ephesians 6:10, that we are STRONG in Him through His MIGHTY POWER! He is our source and our children belong to Him. They are STRONG because the Greater One lives on the inside of them. So let's start/continue to be purposeful in "Speaking Life" to Kingdom Kids!

I don't care what it looks like; how our children are behaving or what type of challenges they may be facing. Our children are capable, able, stable and powerful! If we start saying it, God will honor His word over their lives.

THE CHALLENGE! No matter how old your child(ren) are, ask God what you can do to begin to reinforce this important attribute. Our children have too many people in their ear and they can't be with us all of the time. I'm telling you that if we begin to pour into them, we will start to see our children stand tall and strong in the Power of God who created them and loves them so much! It's time to take back our places as the major influence in our kids lives. Whoever has their ear, holds their destiny!

Be encouraged to LOVE hard and Stand STRONG! and SPEAK LIFE to Kingdom Kids!

I am who God says that I am: "I am CHOSEN!"

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your support! In celebration of God's vision for Kingdom Kids Books, here's Declaration #3 from my book, "I am who God says that I am"! Teaching Young Children Who They Are In God!

I Declare that our children are "CHOSEN" by God!

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..." Jeremiah 1:5

This is God's truth about every child born in the earth. Whether you are carrying a little one inside of you now, or the child you bore was planned or unplanned...IT WAS ORDAINED BY GOD! This is the truth that needs to be communicated to our children. Our kids were handpicked by the Father and He has a plan for their lives to prosper them and bless them! They were created to do something special for God. How cool is that! How can we SPEAK LIFE to Kingdom Kids? How can we give them this truth so they will know that they have purpose and worth? Our children are not bastards but Kingdom Kids; a royal priesthood, set aside to perform great exploits for God’s kingdom! Do you believe?

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

1 Peter 2:9 NIV

TODAY'S CHALLENGE:

No matter what situation you are in; parent, grandparent, Godparent, adoptive, foster, educator or other...begin to share this truth with your child(ren). I challenge you today to tell a child that God loves them, and they are chosen by Him to be GREAT! If the child is too young to understand right now, declare Jeremiah 1:5 over their lives because they don't have to understand for God to fulfill His promise to them. Remember, God's promises are YES and AMEN! Let the Word do the work!

If you need an aid to help you introduce this concept to young children, purchase a book from this site. It's a great gift to the body of Christ and kids everywhere! It really is ALL about the Kingdom and teaching children everywhere, who they are in God!

Children are waiting...Let's go get em'.
